My creative process
People have said they find it quite mesmerising, even moving, to see me take a painting from a stark blank canvas, through layer up on layer of various techniques, gestural marks and patterned precision, intuitive, exploratory discoveries until it finally arrives as a completed piece of art work.
I love to speed the process through time-lapse and really enjoy editting it with music, to enhance the video journey of each piece further still.
I choose to be open and generous with sharing my creative process because I love to encourage creativity in others. Being creative adds dimension, depth, and richness to life, aiding expression, taking us beyond the seen and ordinary.
