I’d like to help make choosing art an exciting and easy experience for you, help take away the guesswork to that you know how to buy art you love, with confidence. CHOOSING  ORIGINAL  ART  FOR  YOUR  HOME  IN  5  EASY  STEPS
- we’ve covered the 'WHY',  now let’s tackle the  WHERE,  WHAT,  WHICH,  WHEN  &  HOW

• 1. WHERE - look at the spaces you have in mind and measure them. Make sure that there is room for the art to ‘breathe’, both aesthetically and practically - it needs to be away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture to avoid damage. It is good to fill your biggest spaces with artwork, for example above fireplaces, sofas or your bed can look striking, but art can also add a wonderful focus to those little nooks and crannies in your home as well.
  

• 2. WHAT - what feel do you want the space to have, what colours are there already. Artwork could be chosen to coordinate, however it often works best when it brings a contrast, adding an accent and bringing impact
  

 

• 3. WHICH - select a piece that is meaningful to you, that reflects your personality. Buy something you love, that you want to live with and that will keep inspiring you on a daily basis.
  

• 4. WHEN - what is your budget at this time? If an original painting is currently too much of a stretch financially, there are various options: I offer a PAYMENT PLAN - maybe making the purchase more accessible to you; I sell paintings on PAPER at a lower price than on canvas, this can be a good place to start your art collection before building towards a more significant investment; or one of my fine art PRINTS might be your first step on your journey of art curation.
