18th May 2024: COLOUR STORIES - LOCAL IN PERSON Abstract Art Workshop
10am-4pm
A 6 hour live & local abstract art class with Kate Green. You are invited into my Cambridge home and studio space for an in person workshop - maximum of 12 places.
FOR ALL ABILITIES - from absolute beginners, to professional artists and everyone inbetween.
Starting with some fun activities to get creative juices and imagination’s flowing. Then I'll share the techniques and the processes that I use in my own artwork. Taking you step-by-step, through how I construct a painting. We’ll then move onto you creating your very own pieces using the techniques that I've showed. We’ll look at how to use colour with confidence and with intention, we’ll be thinking about the concept, composition and design of a piece and how these things add towards the story that your art tells.
Loads of ideas and inspiration for abstract art, for using colour, for layering, for design, to take away and to develop into your own art practice.
It's going to be so much fun and I can’t wait to see you in the workshop!
